What You’ll Do
You’ll be out in the field keeping our network strong, reliable, and ready for anything:
Troubleshoot and repair HFC (Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial) networks
Test and optimize signal performance
Maintain key network equipment (nodes, fiber systems, power supplies)
Perform fiber splicing and activation
Handle outages and support emergency restoration
Conduct preventative maintenance and system balancing
Identify signal leakage and ensure compliance
Support network expansion and serviceability
Deliver excellent customer service while representing WOW! professionally
What You Bring
Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting/repairing in HFC networks is highly preferred
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers
Enjoy working outdoors and staying active
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Comfortable learning technical skills and using tools
Ability to explain things clearly to customers
Flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, on-call rotation)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
What the Job Is Really Like
This is not a desk job—and that’s the point.
Working outdoors in all weather conditions
Climbing ladders, working on poles/roofs, and in tight spaces (attics, crawl spaces)
Lifting up to 90 lbs. and handling tools/equipment
Operating company vehicles safely
Working near electrical equipment and power lines
