

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Coach and train team members in a motivating and positive manner to ensure all team members have a thorough knowledge of their job expectations
Lead working team on special projects while performing the work
Directly lead team members while performing all work duties of the department they are assigned to while meeting accuracy and productivity expectations in a positive and motivating manner
Performs all tasks in a safe manner, while eliminating possible safety risks and hazards by taking proactive steps
Ensure daily reports are completed as required of the supervisor
Inform managers and supervisors of possible policy violations
Assist with department meetings while promoting open lines of communication with staff
Follow operational procedures to verify product movement is accurately entered into the warehouse management system to ensure accurate inventory
Assisting with yearly inventory responsibilities
Verifying ship-pack counts, UPC codes, price tickets and quality of merchandise
Ensure all merchandise is handled in a manner free of damage
Meet all safety requirements and conditions in assigned area
Ensure all identification labels are accurately placed on pallets and cartons
Ensure all cartons placed on pallets are in a manner where damage cannot occur
Complete daily productivity logs accurately and legibly
Maintain a clean and organized work area by performing general housekeeping
Other duties as assigned
