The role is Sourcing Unit Manufacturing + Logistics Operator for ERP Deployment (Project-based).
What you'll be responsible for:
Validates global “Make” processes, including integration with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), against the SU’s line operations, shift structures, production logic and regulatory requirements
Coordinates with production managers and line supervisors to identify and assess fit gaps, escalate statutory or critical local needs, and confirm alignment with the future Day 2 state
Acts as the SU’s SME for routings, bills of material (BOMs), production versions and shopfloor sequencing, working closely with the global process and data teams
Supports System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring end-to-end validation of manufacturing processes including MES events, data capture, and batch handling
Supports preparation and readiness of manufacturing teams for cutover, including coordination of shift coverage, production downtime, MES configuration, and Hypercare triage for production issues
Validates global “Deliver” processes, ensuring they align with SU-level outbound logistics, internal warehouse workflows and third-party logistics (3PL) operations
Coordinates with warehouse supervisors, dispatch teams, and logistics providers to map Day 2 processes and confirm that infrastructure, staffing and sequencing can support future operations
Reviews and validates key SAP master data including shipping points, delivery routes, loading points, transportation zones and storage locations
Supports the preparation and execution of physical stock build plans, site layout reviews, and contingency plans for dispatch and delivery continuity during cutover
Participates in UAT for outbound and warehousing processes and coordinates live cutover logistics including issue resolution and Hypercare support
Requirements Gathering & Fit-Gap Analysis
Support assessments between global templated vs local requirements and maximize fit-to-template localization adoption
Translate business needs into system requirements and process changes, whilst securing minimal customizations
Solution Delivery Support
Review testing scenarios and support defect resolution.
Review cutover and deployment plan for the sub-function
Support data conversion, cutover, and go-live activities and hypercare related to the process domain
We're looking for someone who:
Strong operational experience in manufacturing, with deep knowledge of local manufacturing processes + Strong understanding of logistics, dispatch, and warehouse operations
Familiarity with SAP Production Planning (SAP PP), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and shopfloor data collection technologies is preferred
Ability to translate global design into real-world plant execution, and work closely with both line teams and technical colleagues
Strong coordination and escalation skills, including the ability to anticipate production disruption risks and propose mitigations
Experience with SAP Warehouse Management (SAP WM) or SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM) is preferred
Familiarity with transport planning, order picking, inventory movements, and third-party logistics (3PL) collaboration
