About the Role
We’re hiring a part-time Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive women’s health and primary care through Tia’s virtual care model.
In this role, you’ll see patients virtually and deliver integrated care across gynecology, primary care, urgent care concerns, dermatology, birth control counseling, and whole-person care. You’ll also triage, diagnose, and treat patients through Tia’s proprietary virtual care and chat tools.
This role is ideal for a New York-licensed NP or PA who is passionate about women’s health, highly comfortable delivering care digitally, and excited to help shape the technology and care model behind a new approach to women’s healthcare.

What You’ll Do
Virtual Patient Care: Provide high-quality telemedicine care across women’s health, primary care, urgent care concerns, and wellness needs.
Gynecology & Sexual Health: Support virtual annual visits, birth control counseling, STI screening, UTI and vaginal infection consults, pelvic pain, vaginal bleeding, and related concerns.
Primary Care Management: Manage common primary care and urgent care concerns, including cough, sore throat, abdominal pain, basic dermatologic conditions, and other appropriate virtual care needs.
Remotely triage, diagnose, treat, and follow up with patients through Tia’s virtual care and chat-based tools.
Clinical Triage & Follow-Up:
Results Review: Interpret and act on clinical labs and ultrasound results as part of patient care and follow-up planning.
Care Model Innovation: Share clinical insights and feedback to help improve Tia’s technology tools, virtual workflows, and care model.
Patient Partnership: Deliver inclusive, sex-positive, no-judgment care grounded in shared decision-making and respect for each patient’s goals.
What You’ll Bring
Requirements
Credentials: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with national board certification, active unrestricted New York license, and ability to practice in good standing.
Clinical Expertise: 3+ years of outpatient clinical experience in primary care and women’s health, including STIs, UTIs, vaginal infections, pelvic pain, vaginal bleeding, birth control counseling, urgent care concerns, and basic dermatologic conditions.
Virtual Care Readiness: Experience or strong comfort translating in-person clinical judgment into high-quality virtual care delivery.
Results Management: Demonstrated ability to interpret and act on clinical labs and ultrasound results.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including comfort with chat-based patient care.
Technology & Data: Highly tech-savvy and comfortable using telemedicine tools, EHRs, AI-supported documentation, and evolving clinical research to support care delivery.
Nice to Have
Prior experience as a direct digital care or telemedicine provider
Experience in trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ inclusive, and culturally responsive care
Experience supporting low-income, immigrant, migrant, or English-as-a-second-language patient populations
Interest in chronic stress, trauma, immune system compromise, and inflammatory response systems
Experience incorporating integrative medicine into care planning
Existing payer contracting experience with major payers such as BCBS/Anthem, Cigna, Aetna, or United
Active, unrestricted California license
Work Location
This is a remote role supporting Tia’s virtual care model.
Compensation & Benefits
Tia is committed to pay equity and pay transparency. Compensation for this role will be determined based on job-related factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, location, role leveling, business needs, and market conditions.
The expected base salary range for this role is $60,000 to $70,000 annually, based on a 20-hour/week schedule.
