Position Summary:
Our Force Haptic and Systems (FHS) team is looking for a Lab Specialist. The mission is to conduct sample characterization and post qualification tests. This will typically include 3 lots of samples over 3 different temperatures and potentially ELFR large samples tests for AEC-Q100. The candidate is expected to manage all samples and test data in organized fashion so they can be pulled out on demand. The candidate is expected to be very hands-on conducting all tests and operating the testers. We also expect the candidate will learn the maintenance and calibration procedure of the testers and loading the right test setup for different types of products. When necessary, raise flag for routine preventive maintenance or replacement parts to keep the testers in over 95% up time.
Responsibilities:
Conduct FHS NPI products characterization and post qualification tests (60%)
Organize the test samples and data at on-demand status (20%)
Keep testers in over 95% up time (10%)
Preventive maintenance schedule for testers (10%)
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of working experience as operators or technicians in lab testing
Self-disciplined and self-motivated problem-solving attitude
High school diploma or above
Desired Qualifications
Associate Bacheler’s degree in engineering with emphasis in electrical engineering
Organized in characterization and qualification samples and test data management
Timely response to call of duty to meet project time test timeline
Rudimentary data analysis skills such as characterization data consolidation over lots and temperature

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $30 - $46/hour. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
