

JOB SUMMARY
The Mechanic – Intermediate plays a vital role in supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of ONEOK’s newly constructed Cutter Plant. This position performs hands‑on mechanical work across a wide range of fixed and rotating equipment, including engines, compressors, pumps, turbines, generators, and related systems essential to gas processing operations.
Working in a state‑of‑the‑art facility, the Mechanic applies solid technical expertise to troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and install mechanical, electrical, and structural equipment while supporting performance analysis and emissions testing. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. The Mechanic – Intermediate works independently and collaboratively to diagnose issues, secure parts and materials, maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records, and respond effectively to operational or emergency conditions.

Job Profile Summary
Performs activities related to mechanical work on equipment at compressor, pipeline, storage, gathering, fractionation and/or gas processing facilities.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Perform mechanical work on fixed and rotating equipment at various locations including, but not limited to:
Service, troubleshoot, maintain, install and repair structural, mechanical, electrical and/or well equipment. Conduct performance analyses, including emissions testing
Order and/or secure parts and supplies
Maintain, prepare and/or interpret reports and/or records including, but not limited to:
Drive and ensure maintenance is complete on company vehicles
Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline. Job duties also require the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage.

Expected Pay Range: $35.58 - $52.88/hour

Expected Salary Range
$74,000.00 - $110,000.00
