The successful candidate will play a key role in championing the growth of our philanthropic and sustainability initiatives. This role is a perfect fit for someone who enjoys planning and implementing strategies to drive foundation & sustainability growth, engaging with a variety of people, and working in a team environment. Reporting to the Foundation & Sustainability Manager, this role will collaborate with all levels of the organization.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Serve as first point of contact for employee questions related to nVent Foundation giving programs and software platform.
Develop and implement global employee volunteer and giving programs, including communication and advocacy strategies, in partnership with internal teams such as communications, talent acquisition, and branding.
Work with nVent Foundation Champions, Employee Resource Groups, and other employee groups to drive participation in giving programs; use data to track and continuously improve utilization.
Conduct research and benchmarking to bring guidelines and innovation to Foundation and Sustainability initiatives.
Support the annual Sustainability Report and investor-related sustainability survey submissions such as MSCI, ISS, and Sustainalytics.
Manage Employee Relief Fund activities.
Participate in networking opportunities to stay current on proven methods and trends in corporate philanthropy and sustainability.
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.
1-3 years of experience in a sustainability, corporate philanthropy, community engagement, non-profit or related role.
Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with diverse collaborators both internally and externally.
Strong organization skills, ability to lead volunteer teams, and drive multiple priorities.
Knowledge of sustainability standards, topics, and industry trends is helpful.

Pay Transparency
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:
$62,900.00 - $116,900.00
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
