Job Summary
The Mass General Brigham Medical Group is a system-led operating entity formed by Mass General Brigham to deliver high-quality, low-cost, innovative community-based ambulatory care. This work stems from Mass General Brigham’s unified system strategy to bring healthcare closer to patients while lowering total healthcare costs. ExpressCare serves patients of all ages and is open seven days a week to help patients when they are sick or injured and can’t get in to see their primary care doctor. Our services are designed to close the gap between primary care and emergency care by offering prompt, walk-in treatment for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries.
We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Clinic/Practice Assistant to join our ExpressCare team located at 104 Endicott Street in Danvers! This position offers a 4-day work week with a 14-day repeating schedule. In addition, this role requires an every other weekend rotation (both Saturdays and Sundays) from 8:00am-5:00pm.
Clinic/Practice Assistants are often the first point of contact for our patients and play an important role in ensuring every visit starts with exceptional service and compassion. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys helping others, and brings strong customer service and healthcare administrative experience to the team. In this role, you will help create a welcoming and efficient experience for patients while supporting the day-to-day administrative operations of a busy urgent care environment.

Summary
· Perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties in support of a busy clinical practice or urgent care environment.
· Greet and assist patients while delivering excellent customer service both in person and over the phone.
· Schedule patient appointments, maintain appointment records, and support scheduling changes as needed.
· Manage patient documentation, including scanning records, processing billing forms, and obtaining medical records or test results.
· Respond to routine patient and provider inquiries, including messages related to prescription refills, prior authorizations, and test results.
· Support daily office operations by handling mail, faxes, forms, schedules, and other administrative tasks.
· Serve as a resource for scheduling, registration, and billing systems, including assisting with training and support for team members.
· May perform more advanced administrative responsibilities based on department needs and level of competency.
