The College of Agriculture at Louisiana State University seeks applicants for a 12-month Instructor position. This position is described as 100% teaching and advising. The individual filling this position is expected to teach three 3-credit hour courses in the fall and spring semester.
75% - This position will teach a variety of agricultural content courses including agricultural mechanics, welding, environmental education, agriscience, and contests and coaching courses.
20% - This position will supervise student teachers; advise undergraduate students; participate in the recruitment of undergraduate and graduate students; serve on departmental, college, and university committees; provide professional development training and support to Louisiana agriscience teachers
5% - Other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
M.S. in Agricultural Education, Adult Education, or closely related discipline.
3 years of experience

As with all LSU employees, due to this position title and/or responsibilities, this position has an obligation to assist students in the acquisition of necessary services. Should a student appear in need of or seek assistance with issues of an emotional, behavioral, or mental health related matter they should be referred to the proper service within the Student Health Center.
