Starting pay $17/hr plus great benefits
Responsible for operating a Company vehicle to deliver products to customers and performing warehouse activities including parts pulling, staging, and loading/stocking of trucks.
Essential Job Duties
- Receives labels from the supervisor for parts to be pulled for the assigned route.
- Pulls parts from the appropriate bins and delivers them to the staging area for loading.
- Operates a forklift or order selector to transport parts in and about the warehouse.
- Loads truck according to the delivery schedule and performs a final check-off of parts loaded.
- Sorts and places parts and supplies on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
- Respond to customer counter sales immediately by receiving orders, pulling products and loading them into the customer vehicle.
- Verifies in-stock position on product for inside sales staff.
- Drives a company box truck to deliver parts to customer locations.
- Physically loads truck at the branch and verifies the condition of the truck, manifest and other paperwork associated with deliveries to be made.
- Drives to the delivery destination and physically unloads truck and verifies parts unloaded. Picks up returned parts and collects customer payments as necessary.
- Assume other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Not responsible for supervising employees.
Basic Qualifications
Education & Experience
- 6+ months of related warehouse experience.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Must qualify for Corporate insurance programs, including vehicle insurance.
- Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must comply with state and local mandated requirements as well as Department of Transportation (“DOT”) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (“FMCSA”) regulations.
