Palletizer Operators play a critical role in ensuring finished goods are safely, accurately, and efficiently prepared for storage and shipment. This role supports food safety, quality, and inventory accuracy by operating, monitoring, and maintaining palletizing and stretch wrap equipment while following all safety, quality, and GMP standards.

Monday – Friday; hours may vary depending on shift
Overtime and weekend work may be required based on operational needs
What’s on the Menu?
Operate, start up, and shut down palletizers and stretch wrap equipment according to standard operating procedures
Palletize, stretch wrap, label, tape, and prepare finished goods for storage or shipment
Inspect finished goods for damage, defects, or labeling issues and remove non-conforming product
Clear jams and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues; report equipment malfunctions to supervision or maintenance
Coordinate with lift truck operators to ensure proper pallet supply and safe product movement
Maintain accurate records of downtime, inventory reconciliation, and sanitation activities
Generate, validate, and replace pallet labels and barcodes as needed
Re-palletize loads for pattern changes, pallet failure, or damaged product
Change film rolls and labels and make required equipment adjustments
Support sanitation schedules by cleaning equipment and work areas and documenting completion
Train and provide relief for other palletizer operators during breaks and lunches
Maintain continuous communication with Crew Leaders, supervision, and production teams
Follow all safety, quality, GMP, PPE, and company policies at all times
Support continuous improvement, housekeeping, and preventative maintenance programs

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate in English
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment
Ability to learn, qualify, and operate palletizers and stretch wrap machines
Computer skills, including data entry and operating equipment interfaces
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
Effective communication skills with peers, supervision, and Crew Leaders
Ability to train other employees as required
Time management and organizational skills
Willingness to operate material handling equipment (fork truck, lift equipment, floor scrubber, etc.) upon qualification
Ability to meet respirator, fit-testing, and PPE requirements
Working Conditions
Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, stooping, and climbing ladders
Regular exposure to moving machinery, lift truck traffic, noise, vibration, and humid conditions
Use of hand tools for minor adjustments and clearing film or jams
Work in a loud manufacturing and warehouse environment
