Purpose: The Manager, Compliance Data Enablement is a core member of the Compliance Data Management, Analytics and Reporting (CDMAR) team and reports to the Senior Manager, Compliance Data Enablement, HCC Global Operations.
This role is responsible for driving execution of compliance data enablement initiatives by partnering with CDMAR leadership, technology teams, and HCC stakeholders. The Manager translates strategic priorities into delivered platforms, integrations, and analytics capabilities, while ensuring alignment to governance, security, and regulatory expectations.
The Manager, Compliance Data Enablement supports HCC Operations functions (including Global Transparency Reporting, Global Assessment and Consulting Services, and related teams) and works across sectors (MedTech and Innovative Medicine) and functions to enable consistent, scalable, and risk-based use of compliance data globally.
You will be responsible for:
Partner with HCC stakeholders to execute a risk-based compliance data and systems strategy, supporting assessment, mitigation, and management of compliance risk across HCC and relevant enterprise systems.
Drive delivery of CDMAR initiatives by owning project plans, milestones, risks, and outcomes, ensuring alignment to overall vision and priorities.
Lead work through project teams, matrixed resources, and delivery partners, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Maintain a strong functional understanding of the global CDMAR portfolio and develop working knowledge of HCC roles and operating models to inform delivery decisions.
Enable operational excellence by applying standard delivery, governance, and quality practices across data platforms and solutions.
Participate in cross functional initiatives and special projects related to compliance data, analytics, testing, and monitoring.
Program and project management.
Financial tracking and budget support for assigned initiatives.
Stakeholder and governance meeting coordination.
Required administrative activities.
Other duties as assigned by HCC management.
Qualifications/Requirements:
A minimum of 8 years of experience in data management, data engineering, analytics, or data platform roles, including experience leading initiatives or teams.
Experience delivering solutions in global, cross functional, or cross sector environments.
Demonstrated ability to lead execution, manage ambiguity, and deliver outcomes across multiple initiatives in parallel.
Proven capability to partner with leaders and stakeholders, effectively communicating complex technical topics to non-technical audiences.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Experience improving or scaling data platforms, processes, or business operations.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to operate effectively in complex environments, exercising independent judgment within defined strategic direction.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills required.
This position will require up to 10% travel.
Strong experience with modern data platforms and technologies, including experience with some of the following:
Data platforms: Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar enterprise platforms.
ETL / integration tools.
SQL: Extensive experience required.
Working knowledge (hands on or oversight) of:
Data virtualization technologies (e.g., Denodo)
Amazon Web Services (e.g., S3, RDS, Lambda)
Microsoft Azure
Familiarity with data governance, information management, and analytics enablement practices.
Project management and/or process excellence certification preferred.
Data modeling experience, including understanding of ontologies and taxonomies, preferred.
Exposure to graph databases (e.g., Neo4j) or graph data concepts preferred.
