In this role you will drive key topics end-to-end—from customer journeys, capturing commercial opportunities and business requirements to go-live readiness, operations and risk.
Payments is on the move. With market trends like AI, Big Tech and Fintech shaping the future, ING Payments is working on the next step towards seamless and integrated Payments for our customers. You’ll work on one of the main strategic products for ING Payments, WERO, initially for Belgian, German and Dutch markets—with more countries to follow.
Within Tribe Payments NL, we build seamless payment journeys for millions of customers. As Product Owner for WERO, you translate strategy into a sharp roadmap and deliver value with full operational and risk ownership—refinement, planning, delivery and controlled go-lives.
ING Payments NL is one of the largest tribes within ING the Netherlands and based in Amsterdam. The tribe entails all products and processes associated with Payments within ING NL, servicing our 7 million customers every day.
The team
Your squad keeps iDEAL future-ready and grows WERO e-commerce—delivering cross-country rollouts across Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands and scaling beyond.
You collaborate daily with engineers, architects, operations and risk/compliance, plus stakeholders in NL, Belgium and Germany. You also align with external parties (other banks, iDEAL, EPI) on requirements, dependencies, roadmap and go-live dates.
