

As an Indirect Tax Manager, you will play a key role in managing Goodyear’s tax compliance and reporting activities across multiple jurisdictions throughout the United States and Canada. This position offers the opportunity to own indirect tax processes while partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external providers in a collaborative, fast-paced Fortune 200 environment. In this role, you will help ensure accurate and timely tax compliance, support strong financial controls, reduce tax risk, and contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and scalability across the tax function and the broader organization.
Manage indirect tax compliance activities, including sales and use tax, annual reports, business licenses and personal property tax by coordinating with third-party providers and reviewing filings
Oversee preparation of indirect tax returns prepared internally, ensuring accurate and timely filings
Manage indirect tax audits and compliance reviews
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support accurate tax reporting and compliance
Develop and document indirect tax positions and provide guidance on complex indirect tax issues
Identify opportunities to reduce task risk and improve process efficiency
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
6+ years of experience in indirect tax
Strong knowledge of indirect tax rules and concepts
Experience with ERP and tax systems (e.g., SAP, Vertex)
Strong communication skills, attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in an agile environment
