The Director, Intake to Cash leads the firm's enterprise strategy and multi-year roadmap for intake-to-Cash lifecycle — from matter intake through pricing, time and billing, e-billing, collections, and revenue recognition. This is a senior leadership role with broad mandate to shape strategy, partner with attorneys, practice groups and Finance, and deliver measurable outcomes on cash flow, realization, and timekeeper experience.
Sitting within Enterprise Applications and reporting to the Managing Director, the Director will inherit a transformation portfolio anchored on Intapp and Aderant, with a clear remit to embed AI and automation as the modernization lever. The role combines product ownership, people leadership, and executive influence — the right candidate is equally comfortable in a partner conversation about realization rates and a working session with engineers about workflow design.
Who You Are:
Own the enterprise-level, multi-year roadmap QTC transformation roadmap covering intake, pricing, billing, e-billing, collections, and revenue recognition.
Sequence investments to balance quick wins with platform-level change.
Set strategic direction for modernization of the Intapp and Aderant ecosystems — including upgrades, integrations, configuration vs. customization decisions, and retirement of legacy point solutions, while delegating detailed system design, configuration, and support to functional and technical leads
Embed AI and intelligent automation across the QTC value chain and drive delivery through measurable business outcomes. Identify high-leverage use cases (narrative editing, e-billing rejections, time capture, collections prioritization), build the business case, and own delivery through to measurable outcome.
Serve as the senior business partner to the CFO organization, Practice Group leaders, the Office of General Counsel, and the firm's Pricing and Revenue teams. Translate partner-level priorities into delivery commitments and vice versa.
Lead and grow a team of Business Systems Analysts, Financial Systems Analysts, and developers. Coach for both technical depth and business fluency
Own commercial relationships with Intapp, Aderant, and adjacent SaaS vendors. Manage the QTC platform budget and ensure spend ties to demonstrable business value.
Establish and enforce delivery standards — agile cadences, change governance, release management, KPIs — appropriate to a regulated, partner-led environment.
Who You Are:
12+ years in enterprise applications, finance systems, or QTC transformation leadershipProven track record leading large-firm QTC modernization programs — billing, e-billing, collections, revenue recognition — at scale.
Deep working knowledge of Aderant Expert (or comparable legal billing platform) and Intapp suite (Intake, Conflicts, Time, Walls, Terms, or Pricing).
Demonstrated experience deploying AI or intelligent automation in finance or operations contexts — not as proof-of-concept, but as production capability tied to business KPIs.
Experience leading hybrid teams of analysts, developers, and business partners across multiple geographies.
Strong vendor management track record with enterprise SaaS commercial negotiations.
