The Technical Leader for Reload & Cycle Management (RCM) team will be responsible for leading the delivery of Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) reload licensing, cycle management, and core monitoring databank preparation within Fuels & Digital Engineering.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Interface with Product Line Leaders (PLLs), Project Managers (PMs), Project Engineers (PEs) and engineering leaders/teams to coordinate and provide scope development, work planning, scheduling, and technical support for customer deliverables
Communicate/collaborate with internal GVH/GNF functions as well as customers in order to provide technical support and engineering deliverables related to GNF-A nuclear fuel contracts
Thoughtfully assign work to individual contributors and monitor its execution to ensure quality products as well as team proficiency development
Provide feedback and promote accountability on the team to continuously improve performance
Work within a team environment to perform, verify, and mentor other engineers in performing technical evaluations in BWR reload licensing, cycle management, and core monitoring databank preparation
Work with GNF engineering leaders/teams to ensure that GNF fuel products are designed and analyzed in accordance with quality, design, and licensing requirements
Provide process leader expertise, technical problem solving, and work oversight in technical domain areas
Drive continuous improvement in technical processes and procedures
Foster integrity, safety, and quality as the most important priorities
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent engineering discipline
Minimum of 8 years of engineering in an engineering and/or project management capacity
Desired Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering or closely related discipline from an accredited college or university
Experience with BWR technology
Knowledge and experience with Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) reload licensing, cycle management, and/or core monitoring systems along with the associated regulatory/licensing requirements
Knowledge and experience with BWR core simulators (e.g., PANAC)
Knowledge and experience in nuclear plant operations and quality system requirements
Experience with P6 or equivalent planning tool
Object-oriented programming experience such as Python, C#, C++
Ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of the organization and external customers
Display an excellent customer focus
Excellent oral and written communication skills; Interpersonal and leadership skills
Proven problem solving and resolution skills with demonstrated ability to clearly communicate results
Display an excellent drive for continuous improvement

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $111 200,00 and $213 200,00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
