About the Role
At Four Seasons Hotel Nashville, the Banquet Captain (Part Time) plays a vital leadership role in delivering exceptional event experiences that reflect the brand’s commitment to luxury and personalized service. This position oversees banquet operations, ensuring every event is executed with precision, elegance, and attention to detail.
What You Will Do
Supervise and coordinate banquet operations for a variety of events, ensuring flawless execution and exceptional guest service
Collaborate with Catering Managers, Conference Services Managers, and group contacts to execute all event details according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO)
Oversee the set-up and breakdown of banquet spaces, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications
Ensure the quality, presentation, and timely service of food and beverages, with a strong knowledge of wine and spirits
Provide personalized service by addressing guest concerns, handling special requests, and resolving issues promptly
Monitor banquet facilities and equipment, recommending improvements and ensuring proper maintenance
Coordinate with Purchasing to prepare requisitions and POs for banquet needs
Lead and motivate banquet staff, ensuring a high standard of service and teamwork
Assist with event setup, breakdown, and service as needed
What You Bring
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 2–3 years of banquet or hospitality operations experience
Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
Flexible schedule, with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
