As a Finance Integration Engineer, you'll design and implement scalable solutions across our finance technology ecosystem, automate financial workflows, integrate business systems, and ensure production reliability. If you've built integrations that finance teams actually rely on, solved messy data problems at scale, and want to shape architecture from first principles, this is the role.
What You'll Do
Design and Develop Finance System Solutions
Design, develop, and deploy ERP(preferably Netsuite) enhancements and customizations that drive better business processes
Build using SuiteCloud platform: SuiteScript (1.0 & 2.x), SuiteAnalytics, SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and APIs
Develop and maintain workflows and automation across finance systems
Build reusable components and libraries to accelerate future development
Provide technical consulting, best-practice recommendations, and solution architecture
Build and Own Integration Architecture
Design, build, and maintain integrations connecting our ERP with upstream and downstream systems: HR (such as Rippling, Workday), T&E (such as Navan/Expensify/Concur), vendor management (Zip/Coupa), treasury systems, and banking feeds
Build and manage integrations using Workato, n8n, or equivalent middleware platforms
Implement real-time and batch integration patterns using REST APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth, SFTP, and event-based architectures
Work with cross-functional teams (Finance, HR, Procurement, IT) to define integration requirements and architectures
Evaluate vendor APIs and challenge poor designs early in the procurement process
Ensure Reliability and Compliance
Own end-to-end integration health: monitor data flows, troubleshoot failures, reconcile mismatches
Provide production support and resolve issues promptly
Maintain 99%+ system availability across all critical integrations
Design and implement SOX-compliant integration controls (change management, access controls, data validation)
Support ITGC audits with comprehensive documentation and control testing evidence
Implement logging, observability, alerting, and version control practices
Collaborate Across Teams
Partner with finance (accounting, FP&A, treasury), functional analysts, and engineering teams to ensure integration reliability
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data flow diagrams
Support multi-environment deployment pipelines (DEV, TEST, UAT, PROD)
Conduct regular system upgrades and manage deployment windows with minimal business disruption
Document and Scale
Prepare detailed technical documentation for all customizations, integrations, and configurations
Write detailed design and specification documents: use cases, test cases, exception handling, runbooks
Create and maintain sequence diagrams, data mapping specifications, and error-handling flows
Design and architect scalable solutions collaboratively with other developers
Establish integration governance standards and best practices for the growing team
What You'll Bring
Required
5-8 years in integration engineering, with 5+ years of hands-on ERP development/integration experience (non-negotiable)
Data quality focus: Exposure to Master Data Management (MDM), reconciliation frameworks, or data validation controls
Industry background: Prior work in fintech, crypto, payments, or high-scale transactional businesses
Architectural thinking: Experience designing integration architecture, evaluating build vs. buy decisions, or establishing integration standards
