As a Massage Therapist within our Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation team, you’ll play a key role in helping patients regain comfort, mobility, and improved quality of life. You’ll provide therapeutic, evidence‑informed massage interventions tailored to each patient’s individualized care plan, supporting musculoskeletal function, circulation, and overall well‑being.
What is available:
.5 FTE(40 hours bi-weekly)
Monday–Thursday, day shift between 7:00 a.m.– 4:00 p.m.
No weekends or holidays!
Location: Onalaska Clinic
What You’ll Do
Conduct Health Histories — Review and update patient health histories before each session; identify contraindications and precautions.
Perform Clinical Massage Techniques — Deliver evidence‑informed interventions including trigger point therapy, lymphatic drainage, pregnancy/prenatal massage, Swedish, and deep tissue techniques based on patient needs and your training.
Tailor Treatment Plans — Adjust pressure, modality, and approach to support pain reduction, mobility, circulation, and overall comfort.
Monitor & Respond — Observe patient responses, gather feedback, and modify techniques to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Collaborate Clinically — Work within a multidisciplinary rehab environment, including chiropractors, aligning your interventions with patient care plans and clinical goals.
Document Patient Progress — Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Protect Patient Privacy — Uphold HIPAA standards and safeguard all protected health information.
What You’ll Need
Graduate of an Accredited Massage Therapy Program
Wisconsin Massage Therapist & Bodywork Therapist License (MTBT‑WI)
BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA or Red Cross, hands‑on)
2+ years of licensed massage therapy experience
Starting pay of $21.15/hour + more for experience!
