

POSITION: Senior Manager of Leader Hiring
LOCATION: DSST Central Home Office
SALARY: $82,500-$100,700 based on years of aligned experience up to 10 years. We also offer arelocation stipend if you are moving from a location greater than 75 miles from Denver!
STATUS: Full time, benefits eligible, exempt, year round in-person position (Denver, CO)

Overview of Position:
The Senior Manager of Leader Hiring is a highly visible role who works closely with senior and executive leadership to drive the strategic direction and day-to-day recruitment and hiring of our school and home office leaders. This position focuses on building sourcing and hiring strategies that result in long-term candidate conversion.
Essential Functions:
Recruitment and Hiring (65%)
Executes recruitment calls and in person meetings with potential leader candidates
Hosts school tours with potential leader candidates
Executes all School Based Leadership hiring and communication for the network
Oversees and Leads on executing Home Office Based hiring for the network as needed
Leads with an operational focus, setting strategy, objectives and policies working closely with the finance team.
Identifies areas of need with leader hiring and leads the team to improved outcomes
Presents to a wide variety of audiences internally and externally on hiring related topics
Understands business needs and talent gaps, short and long term, to ensure we have the talent/capabilities to drive strategy and achieve business plans.
Lead with high integrity. Ensure recruitment methodologies and hiring practices are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures to ensure appropriate and fair selection, assessment, pre-screening, and post-employment methodology.
Talent Acquisition Vision and Strategy (15%)
Create and execute a talent acquisition hiring strategy aligned with DSST’s business objectives and culture in order to meet hiring goals and support company growth.
In partnership with Director of Talent Acquisition lead the vision on all School Based Leadership hiring for the network
In partnership with Director of Talent Acquisition lead on all Home Office Based hiring for the network
Anticipate Talent Acquisition trends and identify current or future talent shortages/talent trends/new ways to identify external talent for the company.
Leadership (15%)
Provides expert guidance, facilitation and collaboration for hiring managers and talent acquisition team to recruit, identify, select, onboard, and retain highly skilled and diverse candidates
Create areas of accountability for each segment of the hiring process and evaluate outcomes.
Nurtures a culture of service, credibility and partnership.
Provides senior leadership and coaching in a fast paced, team based environment while being extremely adaptable and flexible.
Results-oriented and demonstrates a high level of ownership and accountability in delivering outcomes. Engages, develops and manages team members to deliver results.
Be viewed as an expert and key partner to functional business and HR leaders on emerging staffing trends and workforce analytics. Gather stakeholder feedback to continuously drive quality and effectiveness improvements.
Plays a senior leadership role in the planning and execution of new acquisitions including collaborating with stakeholders as needed to complete hires.
Observes and cultivates current and future leaders to inform succession plans

Requirements:
DSST Public Schools seeks candidates with strong character, passion for excellence and a relentless commitment to our mission.
5+ years of professional experience required
4+ years of experience in Human Capital OR k-12 School experience
Proven success leading adults
Bachelor's Degree required from accredited university
Excellent organization, time management, and follow-through; a high sense of urgency
Ability to multitask and lead multiple high level projects and deadlines at once with a high degree of attention to detail
Preferred Experience:
Experience leading in K-12 education strongly preferred
Experience in K-12 high performing charter management organization preferred.
Experience working with Human Resources systems such as Workday preferred
