JOB SUMMARY: The Architectural Associate supports project teams in design development, documentation and coordination across all project stages. The role participates in concept design, BIM modelling, technical detailing, client presentations and submission processes. As an entry-level architectural professional, the Architectural Associate develops foundational competencies in architectural practice while gaining exposure to built environment regulations and multidisciplinary coordination.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist in preparing conceptual designs, diagrams, visualisations and presentation materials. • Produce BIM and CAD drawings including plans, sections, elevations and architectural details. • Support design development through research, studies, modelling and material exploration. • Coordinate with consultants on structural, M&E, façade and landscape integration. • Assist in preparing tender documents, technical drawings and construction packages. • Support statutory submission processes including compiling documentation and responding to regulatory queries. • Participate in site meetings, update drawings based on site conditions and track technical issues. • Support quality assurance through drawing checks and compliance reviews. • Maintain accurate documentation, drawing registers and BIM file organisation. • Uphold company design standards and contribute to innovation and design improvement opportunities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent. • 0–3 years of architectural experience within the built environment sector. • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino or other modelling tools. • Strong design sense, technical aptitude and understanding of building construction. • Good knowledge of local building codes and regulations (Singapore or UAE). • Strong communication, teamwork and time-management skills. • Interest in pursuing professional architectural licensure is advantageous.
