

The Applications Development Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team. The overall objective of this role is to drive applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
Experience Level: 15+ years of progressive experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on solution architecture and leadership.
Enterprise Solution Architecture: Proven ability to design and build enterprise-level solutions leveraging Java/J2EE, Python, and advanced Generative AI (GenAI) technologies.
Technical Leadership & Hands-on Expertise: Drives technical strategy, provides hands-on guidance, and leads cross-functional teams in implementing complex AI-driven projects from inception to deployment.
AI/ML & GenAI Proficiency: Good experience with AI/ML methodologies, including practical application and architectural integration of Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Models (LLM) into business solutions.
Robust Software Engineering Principles: Expert knowledge of software design patterns, architectural principles (e.g., microservices, event-driven architectures), and adherence to SOLID principles, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
Data Strategy & Management: Strong expertise in data modeling, database design (SQL and NoSQL), data pipelines, and strategies for managing data within AI ecosystems.
Comprehensive SDLC & Best Practices: Mastery of the entire software development life cycle, including DevOps practices, cloud-native deployments, security considerations, and agile methodologies.
