DAYS! Full-time 1st Shift (3 - 12 hour shifts and an every 3rd weekend rotation.

Respiratory Therapist Job Description:
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing respiratory care to children in various settings. If you thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting and have a passion for pediatric care, this is your chance to make a real difference one breath at a time.
Respiratory Therapist Key Responsibilities:
Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in various settings.
Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures.
Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on respiratory care and management.
Apply scientific knowledge, technical expertise, and theory to practical clinical problems.
Provide therapeutic, diagnostic, consultative, and supportive services for neonatal through adult patients and their families.
Actively participate in resuscitative and emergent situations.
Function within professional and hospital standards.
Respiratory Therapist Qualifications:
Requires a valid Wisconsin Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
Requires CRT and RRT. Certified Respiratory Therapist and Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification - American Heart Association (AHA) training (or required within 6 months).
Education - requires completion of a respiratory therapy program.
Note: No Pediatric work experience is required, at least 2 years of RCP experience strongly preferred for Day shift position. A desire to serve children and families is essential. Children's has a robust orientation process.
