

Job Description:
This position serves as the third Assistant Coach for Men’s Ice Hockey. As a key member of the coaching staff, the role supports the overall operation, development, and success of the program. Primary responsibilities include assisting with on-ice instruction and skill development, practice planning and execution, video analysis and scouting preparation, recruiting and evaluation of prospective student-athletes, and supporting player development both athletically and personally. The position also assists with administrative and operational duties, including travel coordination, equipment oversight, alumni and community engagement, compliance with institutional, conference, ECAC and NCAA rules, and fostering a positive team culture that promotes academic achievement, sportsmanship, and competitive excellence. The Third Assistant Coach works collaboratively with the head coach and staff to advance the strategic goals and daily functioning of the program.
Education and Experience
● Bachelor's degree required.
● 1-2 years of coaching experience or a combination of competitive playing experience and/or coaching experience at the collegiate level.
● Enthusiasm for learning and a strong desire for professional development.
● Solid communication and organizational skills.
All division employees are required to demonstrate exemplary ethical conduct and conformance to NCAA rules and regulations; the duties of the position are to be performed in compliance with all NCAA, Ivy League rules and regulations; and any rules violations on behalf of themselves or any knowledge of violations within the division are to be reported to the compliance office and appropriate parties.
Employees in coaching positions must receive annual rules education on NCAA legislation related to recruiting by the compliance office and maintain current AED/CPR and First Aid certification (certification is available at no cost through the Division).
