Required Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics or related field required. Master’s Degree in Linguistics or related field preferred.
The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Experience: Teaching experience preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of core linguistic concepts (sounds, structure, meaning), as well as understanding of social, biological and psychological aspects of language. Demonstrate knowledge of the processes of academic writing, reading, and research for international students who have English as their second language. Duties/Expectations: Instructor will teach a class in First-Year Writing for International Students. Class that would be assigned is ELING 150, First-Year Writing for International Students.
