Volunteer cheerleading coach opportunity.

What you'll do and what you'll bring: 

Assist the Head Coach in fostering a positive, safe, and enthusiastic environment for student-athletes. The Assistant Coach helps instruct cheer techniques, choreograph routines, and supervise team activities during practices, games, and events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruction: Assist in teaching basic cheer techniques, motions, jumps, stunts, and routines.
• Supervision: Monitor athletes during practices, games, and travel to ensure safety and discipline.
• Support: Provide motivation, mentorship, and encouragement to all team members.
• Practice/Game Prep: Help set up equipment, organize cheers, and assist with sideline routines.
• Communication: Assist with team communication and parent inquiries when needed.
• Administrative: Assist with uniform distribution, tryouts, or fundraising.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Passion for working with youth and developing athletic skills.
• Previous experience in cheerleading, dance, or coaching preferred.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• Ability to commit to a weekly schedule of practices and games.
• Must pass a background check and complete necessary safety certifications
