Overview
We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager (TPM) to drive execution across next-generation network infrastructure and hardware platform programs. This role will focus heavily on PAN FW (Palo Alto Networks Firewalls), Cumulus-based switching environments, hardware validation workflows, and coordination across engineering labs, chamber testing environments, and contract manufacturing partners.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical program management discipline with hands-on exposure to network infrastructure hardware programs, system integration, and manufacturing operations. This individual will partner closely with hardware engineering, firmware/software teams, validation engineering, supply chain, operations, and external manufacturing vendors to ensure successful delivery of critical infrastructure initiatives.
This role requires an execution-oriented TPM who can manage complex dependencies, coordinate multiple technical workstreams, and drive programs from planning through deployment readiness in fast-paced engineering environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end execution of technical infrastructure and hardware platform programs across planning, integration, validation, manufacturing, and deployment phases.
Coordinate programs involving PAN FW (Palo Alto firewall) environments and Cumulus-based switching infrastructure.
Manage schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and execution tracking across multiple engineering teams and external vendors.
Drive cross-functional alignment between hardware engineering, software/firmware teams, validation engineering, operations, supply chain, and manufacturing partners.
Coordinate chamber testing activities, hardware qualification efforts, and infrastructure readiness programs.
Partner with contract manufacturers (CMs) to track manufacturing schedules, issue resolution, production readiness, and deployment timelines.
Support new hardware introduction (NPI), build readiness, validation planning, and manufacturing execution activities.
Facilitate technical reviews, status reporting, executive communications, and escalation management.
Identify operational gaps and drive workflow/process improvements that improve engineering efficiency and program execution.
Build objective reporting mechanisms, dashboards, and KPIs for program governance and delivery transparency.
Support forecasting, capacity planning, resource coordination, and prioritization across concurrent initiatives.
Ensure program deliverables are completed on schedule while managing evolving priorities and technical challenges.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
5–7 years of experience in Technical Program Management, Technical Project Management, Infrastructure Program Management, or related engineering delivery roles.
Strong experience managing complex cross-functional technical programs involving hardware and infrastructure engineering.
Familiarity with PAN FW (Palo Alto Networks firewalls), enterprise networking, or switching environments.
Exposure to Cumulus Linux switching platforms or modern data center networking environments.
Experience coordinating hardware engineering and software/firmware workstreams.
Experience working with chamber testing environments, hardware qualification labs, or system validation programs.
Experience partnering with contract manufacturers (CMs), suppliers, or manufacturing operations teams.
Strong understanding of project scheduling, dependency management, risk tracking, and execution governance.
Demonstrated ability to resolve technical execution issues, schedule conflicts, and resource constraints.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to engineering leadership and executive stakeholders.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting data center, AI infrastructure, networking, or large-scale hardware platform programs.
Familiarity with hardware lifecycle management, NPI processes, rack integration, or deployment operations.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar TPM/project management tools.
Knowledge of infrastructure observability, operational reporting, and engineering governance frameworks.
PMP, Agile, Scrum, or related project management certifications preferred.
Experience driving process optimization and operational improvements across engineering organizations.
