Job Description Summary
The Sales Business Process System Lead is responsible for designing, coordinating, and continuously improving sales-related business processes and system workflows to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the commercial function. This role manages customer metal market administration, coordinating inputs, adjustments, and controls to support pricing accuracy, and serves as the primary coordinator for customer audits by organizing documentation, system data, and cross-functional responses. The Sales Business Process System Lead supports timely, accurate data, pricing, and documentation, while driving the automation and centralization of metal market, document management, and sales processes within enterprise systems. The role oversees customer setup and master data management in ERP systems, including loading and maintaining pricing, coordinating required customer documents, and ensuring data integrity across systems. By partnering closely with sales, finance, IT, and quality teams, this position enables standardized processes, system transparency, and scalable sales operations that support customer expectations and business growth.
Job Description:
Manage customer metal market processes by coordinating inputs, calculations, adjustments, and controls to ensure accurate and compliant pricing.
Coordinate customer audits, including preparation, data validation, document collection, and cross‑functional responses within required timelines.
Automate and centralize sales and metal market processes to improve efficiency, visibility, and consistency across systems.
Oversee document management by organizing, maintaining, and integrating customer and sales documentation within enterprise systems.
Manage customer setup in ERP systems, ensuring accurate onboarding, compliance with internal controls, and alignment with commercial requirements.
Load and maintain pricing in ERP systems, including metal market-related updates, changes, and controls to ensure data integrity.
Own master data management for sales-related data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, governance, and alignment across ERP and supporting systems.
Strong business process design and system optimization skills
Project and process management capabilities, including automation and centralization initiatives
High attention to detail for pricing accuracy, data integrity, and audit compliance
Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams (sales, finance, IT, quality, supply chain)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and documentation skills, both written and verbal
Ability to translate business requirements into system solutions
Change management skills to drive process standardization and user adoption
Required Skills and Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
ERP or business systems training or certification preferred
Training or experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus
Experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment strongly preferred
