About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Paid Dealer's Representative to join our team at RHB Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for executing local and foreign trades, managing client portfolios, and supporting sales and marketing activities to drive business growth. You will ensure compliance with industry regulations while providing excellent service to clients.
What you will be doing
Deal and execute trades for local and foreign retail equities clients.
Carry out sales and marketing activities to acquire new clients.
Manage client portfolios by providing market updates and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
Promote and cross-sell the Bank’s related products to clients.
Participate in branch marketing and promotional activities, ensuring smooth execution of events.
Review clients’ credit limits and ensure limits are assigned based on collateral, financial standing, and track record to minimize contra losses and manage risk effectively.
Take reasonable steps to understand clients’ backgrounds, including investment objectives, financial standing, and source of funds.
Ensure compliance with rules and regulations set by the Securities Commission, Bursa Malaysia, Bank Negara Malaysia, and other relevant governing bodies.
What we’re looking for
Degree or professional qualification in finance, business, or related fields.
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in retail equities, stockbroking, or financial services.
Strong analytical and relationship management skills.
Good knowledge of the securities and futures industry and relevant regulations.
Capital Markets and Services Representative’s License (CMSRL) for dealing in securities is an advantage.
