As an Underwriting Co-Op Student, Cyber & Technology, you will have the opportunity to develop key skills and to build a successful underwriting career at a growing company that has consistently met financial growth objectives.
Underwriting in the Cyber & Technology space focuses on analyzing evolving digital risk factors -including data breaches, ransomware, system failures, technology errors & omissions, and emerging cyber threats - and making informed decisions on whether or not to stake corporate capital. Additionally, the role requires sales and marketing skills through interaction with brokers to differentiate our cyber and technology products and services from our competitors'.
Cyber & Technology Underwriters should have a mix of strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills while acting as decisive problem solvers who lean on curiosity and research to assess risk and thrive within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This position offers you the chance to develop risk selection acumen, insurance knowledge, and hone your negotiation skills, while building relationships with brokers in the industry.

Hiring Pay Rate:
CAD $24 per hour.
This range represents the expected hourly pay rate for this role. Final offers will be determined based on each candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
