Job Title: Housekeeping / Room Checker
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position is responsible for cleaning and inspecting guest rooms and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness, quality, and readiness.
You will play an important role in maintaining a comfortable and safe environment for guests while supporting the housekeeping team.
JOB OVERVIEW/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean guest rooms and common areas to company standards
- Check cleaned rooms to ensure quality, cleanliness, and readiness
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly
- Replenish room supplies and amenities
- Support housekeeping team during busy periods
- Coordinate with front desk on room status updates
- Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are followed
- Train or guide housekeeping staff on cleaning standards
Training and support will be provided to help you succeed in the role.
REQUIREMENTS

- Education and Qualification
- Valid working visa in Japan
- Skills
- Ability to work with attention to cleanliness and quality standards
- Basic communication skills for reporting and coordination
- Language Skills
- Conversational level or above in English
- Competencies
- Ability to follow established procedures and standards
- Friendly, polite, and professional attitude toward guests and colleagues

- Experience
- Experience in housekeeping or room inspection in hotels or similar facilities
- Previous experience working as part of a team
- Education and Qualification
- Training or certification related to cleaning, hygiene, or safety
- Skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to explain cleaning procedures and standards clearly to others
- Language Skills
- Conversational level or above in Japanese
