Position Overview:
As a Platform Engineer II, you significantly contribute to TrueNAS Enterprise’s Platform team with typically 2-3 years of experience or equivalent expertise, evaluating hardware components. You will be responsible for development, debugging, and lifecycle support of high-performance NAS solutions. This role sits at the intersection of high-speed digital design, enterprise storage (NVMe/SATA/SAS), and advanced networking. You will interact with our design partners, manufacturing facilities, and end customers to ensure our hardware is robust, scalable, and reliable. You'll work alongside senior platform engineers who own TrueNAS internals, storage software integration, and customer escalations.

Base Pay Range
The base pay range of this position is $100,000 to $110,000 USD annually. Please note that the provided range reflects the pay spectrum for positions within the same job category as the one to which this position belongs. The final offer will consider various factors, such as location, education, and prior experience, to ensure a comprehensive and fair compensation assessment.
