Job Description
The Cashier II, under general supervision, assists with processing payments for purchase, preparing deposit slips, and supervising other Cashiers and student workers.
Responsibilities:
Reviews daily cashier check-out sheets and bank deposits.
Accepts cash, checks, and credit card payments via walk-ins or by telephone.
Assists in balancing cash receipts for accounting.
Reports daily departmental deposits.
Records and receives drop box payments.
Assists in training and supervising temp cashiers and student workers.
Replenishes inventory stock in the store and assists with annual inventory count.
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two (2) years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
