

Job Summary:
Skilled Wound Care is seeking a hands-on IT Support Specialist to provide daily, in-person IT support for our staff and maintain a clean, reliable, and well-organized technical environment in our Playa Vista office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the go-to person for technical issues, takes pride in organization, and has a strong foundation in both computers and mobile devices.
Key Responsibilities:
End-User Support: Provide on-site technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Troubleshoot and resolve problems with laptops, desktops, scanners, printers, iPhones, iPads, and other peripherals. Support multiple operating systems: macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android. Respond to support requests in a timely, professional manner and document issues and resolutions.
Device Setup & Onboarding: Set up and configure devices for new hires (computers, monitors, mobile devices, peripherals). Install and configure required software, security tools, and profiles. Ensure new employees are fully operational on day one with appropriate access and credentials.
Repairs & Maintenance: Diagnose and perform basic to intermediate repairs on non-working assets (laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, etc.). Coordinate with vendors or external repair services when needed. Perform regular maintenance, updates, and optimizations to keep systems running efficiently.
Office IT Organization & Upkeep: Keep all office technical assets, workstations, and cabling clean, neat, and well-organized at all times. Maintain and improve cable management in workstations, conference rooms, and networking areas. Ensure shared spaces (conference rooms, hot desks, etc.) are always ready for use from a technical perspective.
Inventory, MDM, & Asset Management:
Networking & Security: Apply a working understanding of networking concepts (LAN/Wi-Fi fundamentals, IP addressing, basic troubleshooting). Assist with basic network troubleshooting (connectivity, printers, Wi-Fi issues). Implement and follow security best practices for endpoints and user accounts. Support deployment and maintenance of security tools (EDR/antivirus, device encryption, OS patching, etc.).
