We are excited to offer a remote position for a Reels & Photo Editor to work with a Canadian construction company. This role is ideal for a creative and detail-oriented professional with expertise in short-form video and photo editing, who can help showcase the company’s projects and enhance its brand presence on social media.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit 30–60 second Instagram Reels using raw job site footage and drone shots
Apply cuts, music, text overlays, and pacing consistent with brand style
Edit photo albums using Lightroom with brand presets
Apply color grading and deliver polished, client-ready photo sets
Create static posts and carousels in Canva using brand templates
Organize raw files from shoots into a clean, consistent folder system
Scout Instagram and TikTok for top-performing content in construction/trades
Support with basic post scheduling and content calendar management
Requirements
Proficiency in CapCut
Proficiency in Lightroom (color grading + presets)
Proficiency in Canva
Experience editing short-form vertical video (Reels/TikTok format)
Strong eye for pacing, music selection, and visual storytelling
Ability to work independently with minimal direction
Nice to Have
Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
Familiarity with AI tools (Kling, Runway, Midjourney, etc.)
Experience with construction, trades, or industrial content
Basic Meta Suite knowledge (scheduling, publishing)
