

The Job
As Legal Counsel DACH & CEE, you will play a key role in supporting Milence’s expansion across the DACH and Central & Eastern Europe regions. You will act as a trusted legal advisor to the business, owning legal contracting processes, supporting complex commercial negotiations, and ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Reporting to the Legal & Compliance Lead, this is a hands‑on, business‑close role well suited to a pragmatic legal professional who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, international environment.
What you will do
You will act as legal advisor to the business on commercial, contractual, and regulatory matters in the DACH and CEE regions
You will draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements with partners, suppliers, and site owners
You will develop and maintain standard contract templates and terms to support scalable and efficient business operations
You will support site acquisition activities, including contracts related to land purchase, leases, and construction
You will advise on regulatory and compliance topics related to energy, charging infrastructure, and local legislation
You will closely collaborate with internal stakeholders (Commercial, Operations, Procurement, Compliance, and Executive Team)
You will stay up to date on relevant legal and regulatory developments and proactively inform the business of impacts
Who are we looking for
You are a qualified lawyer in Germany with a Master’s degree in Law (Befähigung zum Richteramt)
You have a minimum 5 years’ experience as legal counsel at an international law firm or in an international company
You have strong experience with international commercial contracts, including real estate, construction, or infrastructure‑related agreements
You have exposure to sectors such as real estate, construction, energy, telecommunications, IT, or site acquisition projects
You have the ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, actionable business advice
You have proven experience advising senior stakeholders and supporting strategic decision‑making
You have business level fluency in German and English languages with strong communication skills
You are comfortable using digital and AI‑supported tools to improve efficiency, quality, and decision‑making, while applying sound judgment and maintaining ownership of outcomes.
