To be successful in this role:
Demonstrated experience as a Sous Chef
Strong experience working on the grill section
Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop, support, and mentor the team
Lead the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
Must have a minimum 2 – 3 years of relevant experience
Implement and manage stock control, ordering, and checking of deliveries
Provide high quality meals in a fast-paced environment
Up to date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
A commitment to achieving outstanding sales results
Ability to take direction well from Head Chef
Ability to engage with the local community

Permanent role with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week
Remuneration at a rate of between $30 and $40 per hour depending on experience
