The Market Sales Trainer is responsible for onboarding, training, coaching, and developing market and area based sales associates and sales leaders to build strong selling skills, product knowledge, and proficiency with sales systems and tools. This role partners closely with Market, Area, Sales Leadership, and Learning & Development (Sales Training and Sales Leadership Academy) to deliver consistent, high impact training that supports sales performance, adoption of selling processes, and execution of sales initiatives. The Market Sales Trainer reinforces onboarding programs, delivers instructor led and virtual training, and provides targeted coaching to close performance gaps within assigned markets.
The work environment for the Market Sales Trainer role will vary from week to week and may include the following elements during the course of performing assigned responsibilities: Market Office, General Sales Meetings, Sales Leader Meetings, Customer Events, and Riding Along with Sellers and Sales Leaders as they Visit Our Customers.

Responsibilities:
Deliver sales training, coaching, and performance support to market‑ and area‑based sales associates, managers, and related roles using established sales processes, selling skills curriculum, tools, and materials.
Train sales teams on selling skills, product knowledge, and sales systems/technology to ensure effective execution in the field and strong customer engagement.
Support STEPS onboarding of new sales associates by facilitating training sessions and reinforcing core selling behaviors, tools, and processes.
Partner with Market, Area, Sales Leadership, Sales Training, and Sales Leadership Academy to identify skill gaps and development needs, and implement targeted training and coaching solutions to address performance opportunities.
Conduct assessments and observations to evaluate knowledge transfer, skill application, and adoption of selling behaviors; provide immediate, actionable feedback to improve performance.
Reinforce the use of standardized sales tools, systems, and resources to drive consistency and effectiveness across assigned markets.
Coordinate with Sales Training, Sales Leadership Academy, Sales Excellence, HR, and other partners to support corporate and market‑led training initiatives.
Support deployment of sales‑related initiatives, programs, and process changes within assigned markets and areas.
Travel within assigned markets as required to support training delivery, coaching, and business needs as well as to Rosemont for various meetings/trainings.

Work Environment:
Hybrid: This role is partially remote, and the associate is expected to perform assigned responsibilities from a combined home-based and office-based environment.
Market‑based role with a combination of in‑person and virtual training delivery.
Travel required to support assigned markets and training needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
5 years of sales and/or sales training experience.
Strong knowledge of professional selling skills and sales processes.
Proven ability to deliver engaging, effective training in both in‑person and virtual environments.
Strong coaching, facilitation, and feedback skills to influence behavior change and performance improvement.
Ability to assess performance gaps and recommend practical learning solutions to drive sales results.
Strong communication skills and professional credibility to partner with sales leaders and field teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Teams, OneNote, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Up to 15 - 20% travel, based on market needs and training deployment.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state or local minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between
$75,000 - $125,000
