THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE
Santander UK’s Assisted Channels area is looking for a Scrum Master based out of Milton Keynes or London. 12 Month - FTC to work with the Cloud Contact Centre Technology team.
The Cloud Contact Centre team is responsible for the support and transformation in Santander’s Amazon Connect services based on AWS services that enable Santander to handle customer voice interactions.
Our end to end Contact Centre service consists of the following main components: Amazon Connect, Lex, AI Agents, Voice Biometrics, routing to agents, Salesforce SCV and NeoCRM.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Scrum Master to join our dynamic team and become a pivotal role in leading the Agile squads focused on transformation and BAU activities within the Cloud Contact Centre Technology area.
We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:
The delivery of a variety of exciting and deeply technical projects running a few squads in parallel.
You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as stand ups and retrospectives.
Sharing your knowledge with the wider teams as well as mentoring and developing others is a key part of your role.
As the company continues our Digital Evolution you will play an important part in guiding and facilitating the changes into a more Agile way of working.
Reporting into a Senior Tech Lead, you will work within an agile squad comprising of Product Owners, Analysts, Developers, Testers, Release Managers and Infrastructure Support teams.

Experience in:
Managing squads responsible for the development of capabilities in complex technical environments (required)
Reporting into area Senior Technical Lead (required)
Providing leadership and assistance to squad members to ensure an Agile framework is followed (required)
Ensuring communication and collaboration (required)
Analysing progress and delivery for all the squads (required)
Working with and upskilling an S2 Scrum Master
Delivering Contact Centre & IVR capabilities (preferred)
Education
Scrum Master certification (preferred)
AWS certification (preferred)
Hard Skills
Understand and facilitate the Agile ceremonies (preferred)
Support Product Owners with backlog refinement and prioritisation (preferred)
Enable obstacle removal for the team (preferred)
Protect the team (preferred)
Soft Skills
Excellent facilitation and communication skills (preferred)
Ability to coach teams at different levels of maturity (preferred)
Create a safe , supportive environment for open communication (preferred)
Calm under pressure and great at resolving conflict (preferred)

Salary Range:
£49,274.00 - £73,912.00 per annum (depending on experience)
This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
