

SUMMARY
The Water/Wastewater Utility Manager is responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, regulatory compliance, staff supervision, process control, reporting, and infrastructure stewardship of the Prairie Island Indian Community water and wastewater utility systems. The Water/Wastewater Utility Manager is skilled in the operations and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment and in laboratory testing of same. Manager is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the Water and Wastewater Department.

Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Must have ability to operate water and wastewater equipment, tools, and trucks
Must be able to lift and carry chemicals and tools, shovel snow and dig, mobe and demobe from jobs.
Must be able to walk, stand or sit for long periods throughout the day
Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects routinely
Must be able to bend and crouch frequently
Ability to work in extreme temperatures and weather conditions
Ability to respond to emergency utility situations outside normal business hours
