Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to support the operation, maintenance, modernization, and AI‑enabled evolution of legacy and
business‑critical applications across the Business Solutions Technology organization. This role focuses on improving system stability,
reducing technical debt, modernizing applications, and driving efficiency through intelligent automation and AI‑assisted engineering methods.
You will collaborate with architects, SRE, QA, and business partners to troubleshoot issues, deliver enhancements, strengthen platform
reliability, and support cloud‑ready modernization. The role requires hands‑on engineering expertise, the ability to work across a mix of
modern and legacy platforms, and openness to leveraging AI and generative tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
Responsibilities
• Operate, maintain, enhance, and stabilize legacy and modern applications across Business Solutions.
• Lead foundational upgrades (framework updates, infrastructure refreshes, security patching, performance improvements).
• Modernize legacy systems using cloud‑ready patterns, microservices, and API‑driven designs.
• Use AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, code‑generation frameworks, intelligent automation) to accelerate modernization
and improve engineering quality.
• Apply AI‑driven monitoring and observability insights to reduce incidents, identify trends, and improve reliability.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, triage, root‑cause analysis, and incident resolution.
• Participate in architecture/design reviews and ensure modernization & AI‑assisted practices are represented in solution planning.
• Estimate engineering effort for enhancements, upgrades, and technical debt remediation.
• Maintain high‑quality technical documentation and run‑books.
• Collaborate with SRE to improve monitoring, alerting, resiliency, and automation‑driven run‑time operations
What Are We Looking For?
We’re looking for a hands‑on engineer who thrives in complex legacy environments, champions modernization, and embraces AI‑enabled
engineering to drive efficiency and resilience. Ideal candidates demonstrate ownership, technical depth, and the ability to deliver durable,
maintainable solutions.
Requirements
• 6+ years of full stack development experience with .NET, Angular, REST APIs, and relational databases.
• Strong experience supporting and modernizing legacy enterprise applications.
• 6+ years with enterprise design processes (sequence/activity diagrams, architecture reviews).
• 6+ years building APIs and microservices using cloud-native or cloud‑ready patterns.
• 5+ years of relational/nonrelational database experience (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, DocumentDB).
• 3+ years hands‑on AWS experience (Lambda, Step Functions, CloudFront, S3, API Gateway, Fargate/EKS, DynamoDB).
• 2+ years of SRE responsibilities (monitoring, reliability engineering, incident management).
• Experience using AI‑assisted engineering tools or demonstrable ability to learn and adopt AI‑led delivery practices.
Core Competencies
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, especially in large and complex legacy systems.
• Experience refactoring, upgrading, and unit testing applications.
• Understanding of both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across engineering and business teams.
• Interest in or experience using AI-assisted delivery frameworks and intelligent automation.
Preferences
• Experience with API documentation tools (e.g., SwaggerHub).
• Exposure to DevSecOps, CI/CD automation, and release pipelines.
• Experience mentoring developers and promoting engineering best practices.
• Experience with modernization patterns for monolithic .NET or legacy distributed systems.
• Familiarity with AI-driven observability, automated testing, or code‑generation tools.
