JOB DESCRIPTION – MW MESSAGING INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER

ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Middleware Messaging Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Tibco is responsible for the design, deployment, and operational support of TIBCO messaging and integration platforms. This role ensures high-performance, reliable message delivery across enterprise systems using TIBCO technologies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, configure, and manage TIBCO EMS (Enterprise Message Service) and TIBCO BusinessWorks environments
• Support and optimize TIBCO Rendezvous (RV) and TIBCO messaging infrastructure for high-availability operations
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and monitoring for TIBCO messaging systems
• Collaborate with application teams to design messaging solutions and integration flows
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex messaging issues, including connectivity, throughput, and latency problems
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery, failover, and backup procedures for TIBCO platforms
• Participate in release management, change control, and infrastructure upgrades for TIBCO components
• Create and maintain technical documentation for TIBCO messaging configurations and runbooks
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• 5-7 years of experience in middleware engineering with strong focus on TIBCO technologies
• Hands-on expertise with TIBCO EMS, BusinessWorks, and Rendezvous
• Strong understanding of messaging patterns including pub/sub, point-to-point, and request/reply
• Experience with TIBCO administration including queues, topics, bridges, and SSL configuration
• Proficiency in monitoring tools (TIBCO Hawk, Splunk, AppDynamics)
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux administration and shell scripting
• Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, and firewall rules
GOOD TO HAVE
• Exposure to TIBCO Cloud or cloud-native TIBCO deployments
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka or IBM MQ integration with TIBCO
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• TIBCO certifications are an advantage
