

Job Description:
The Floor Care Tech performs floor care tasks according to detailed instruction and maintains the facility in a sanitary, safe, clean, and attractive environment to meet hospital and Joint Commission standards. This position also performs general housekeeping duties as assigned.

Pay Rate: Based on Experience
Shift Details: Evening 5pm-1:30, Every other weekend and Every other Holiday No on-call requirements.
Essential Functions
Provides maintenance to hard surface floors by stripping, buffing, burnishing, scrubbing, and re-finishing according to procedure.
Provides maintenance to carpeted floors by vacuuming, extracting, and performing spot removal.
Uses cleaning and floor chemicals properly according to Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
Operates and maintains assigned equipment according to established procedures
Handles equipment maintenance needs including reporting problems with equipment and facility timely and appropriately.
Performs general housekeeping duties as assigned.
Skills
Qualifications
Demonstrated communication skills to include differentiating color-coded labels and/or chemicals as well as following written and/or verbal directions.
Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed to meet the needs of the department
Demonstrated professional floor care experience. (Preferred)

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$17.77 - $23.10
