

Job Description:
The Brown University’s School of Engineering had an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant in its Master’s in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship, PRIME.
Major Responsibilities
This Teaching Assistant supports the School of Engineering PRIME program faculty in the delivery of the 6 required PRIME courses and, as time is available, in support of faculty research and pedagogical development that impacts future course delivery and externally perceived program legitimacy and robustness.
This is a ten-month, fixed term, part-time, 25.5 hours per week position. The end date may be extended dependent upon the continued availability of funding.
Job Qualifications
Education and Experience
BS/BA; in management, Master’s preferred.
1-2 years related research experience
Experience in a university setting, preferred.
Job Competencies

High level of computing proficiency with a skilled working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet applications, and Internet browsers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, plus ability to maintain confidentiality.
Familiarity with online learning technologies Zoom and Canvas
Ability to organize and prioritize workload in a multi-task environment while maintaining careful attention to detail.
Ability to research, analyze and summarize information.
Detail oriented with a strong customer service orientation and high level of accuracy.
Demonstrated ability to support a community of diverse perspectives and cultures in an inclusive environment.
