Job Description
Description & Responsibilities
Description
Brookfield is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own core product features for our AI-first application that amplify how Brookfield invests. You will spend significant time embedded directly with investment professionals — shadowing their real workflows, surfacing precedent and tribal knowledge that never makes it into a requirements doc, and translating what you observe into shipped product.
The ideal candidate combines genuine investment fluency with strong product judgment, deep curiosity about AI, and the kind of communication skills that earn credibility with senior investment professionals from the first conversation.
Responsibilities
Own end-to-end product management for core features of the platform — including discovery, prioritization, requirements definition, delivery, and adoption.
Develop deep understanding of investment workflows through direct engagement with investment professionals, identifying product opportunities, training needs, and process improvements.
Synthesize user research and field observations into a structured roadmap supported by clear hypotheses, measurable outcomes, and prioritized engineering input.
Develop and deliver product and AI training for investment teams to drive adoption and ensure users realize the full value of the platform.
Translate complex investment workflows into clear product requirements, design specifications, and acceptance criteria that enable engineering teams to deliver with minimal ambiguity.
Partner closely with Engineering, Design, and Data teams on canonical data models, AI-enabled workflows, and the shared infrastructure that powers user-facing applications.
Serve as a credible product partner to senior investment professionals, building durable relationships that support sustained adoption and continuous improvement of the platform.
Qualifications
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly with senior investment professionals and translate complex business needs into clear product direction.
Proven success in user-facing product roles, with demonstrated ability to build trust with senior stakeholders and manage competing priorities across business and technical audiences.
Customer-obsessed mindset, with a consistent practice of starting from user needs and working backward to product solutions.
Strong product judgment in environments of ambiguity, with the ability to establish structure where process does not yet exist.
Intellectually curious and adaptable, particularly in applying AI and large language model capabilities to structured, high-stakes investment workflows.
Highly collaborative, with a focus on enabling other teams through well-scoped product capabilities and clear documentation.
Experience
5+ years of product management experience, ideally including B2B vertical SaaS, fintech, or internal product roles at a financial services or investment organization.
Demonstrated investment fluency, including a working understanding of deal underwriting, investment committee processes, and the role of precedent in investment decision-making.
Strong, demonstrable interest in applied AI, with informed perspectives on relevant capabilities and limitations of current language model systems, including retrieval, evaluation, and grounding.
Strong technical literacy, including the ability to read code, work with SQL, prototype using modern AI tooling, and engage substantively with engineering teams on architecture and tradeoffs.
Track record of shipping products that achieve measurable user adoption and business impact.
Experience as an early product manager at a startup is preferred.
Direct experience in real estate investment — including acquisitions, asset management, or capital markets — is considered a plus.
Education / Designations / Licenses
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, computer science, or a related field is required (or equivalent practical experience).
Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in a relevant field) is preferred.
CFA charter strongly preferred. Candidates who have passed all three CFA exam levels will be given equal consideration.
Brookfield is committed to accommodating the individual needs of all applicants with disabilities during the recruitment and selection process in accordance with applicable laws.
We are proud to create a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are grateful for your interest in this position, however, only candidates selected for pre-screening will be contacted.
