bp Wells Summer Intern – Oman
At bp, we are focused on delivering secure, reliable energy today while supporting the transition to a lower carbon future. As a Wells Summer Intern, you will gain exposure to how well delivery and operations contribute to safe and efficient energy production.
bp has a strong presence in Oman, working on complex and innovative energy projects. Our Wells teams operate at the forefront of drilling, completions, and intervention operations, with a strong focus on safety, performance, and continuous improvement.
Role overview
As a Wells Summer Intern, you will gain exposure to a range of well-related activities within bp’s operations, including drilling, completions, and well interventions.
During the internship, you will work alongside experienced engineers and specialists, support day-to-day activities and contribute to real business tasks. This may include exposure to well planning, operational execution, performance monitoring, and technical analysis.
You will also support data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives, building a practical understanding of how wells engineering ensures safe, efficient, and reliable hydrocarbon delivery.
