Position Summary
Bow Valley College is seeking a dynamic and relationship-focused Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Officer to connect learners, employers, and faculty through impactful experiential learning opportunities. This role will support Community Studies programs.
Reporting to the Manager, Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Services, the Work Integrated Learning Officer plays a key role in connecting students, employers, and faculty to create meaningful, high-quality experiential learning opportunities. This position supports learners across a range of WIL experiences including practicums, field placements, clinicals, and service learning. Helping learners successfully transition from the classroom to the workplace.
The WIL Officer is both a relationship builder and a program coordinator who is responsible for facilitating placements, preparing students for success, and ensuring that employers and academic partners have a seamless and rewarding experience. Through a combination of career development expertise, operational excellence, and stakeholder engagement, the WIL Officer contributes to student success and workforce readiness.

You communicate with clarity and confidence, whether facilitating workshops, coaching students, or engaging stakeholders. With a proactive, solutions-focused mindset, you exercise sound judgment and adaptability, balancing independent work with effective teamwork to deliver high-quality outcomes in a dynamic environment.

This opening is a temporary (AUPE) position until Dec 31, 2026 with possible extension. Please note all successful candidates will be required to provide copies of government issued identification and proof of educational qualifications upon hire and may be required to provide an enhanced police information check. If your education was received internationally, we will require you to provide an international education assessment through IQAS, WES, or one of the other nationally designated organizations upon hire.
