

Who we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced Azure Platform Engineer with a strong engineering background to join our Platform Engineering team in the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE). In this position, you will play an important role in designing, building, managing, and enhancing Azure platform capabilities to support secure, compliant, and scalable workloads across State Street.
You will be instrumental in building the Azure foundation by establishing platform standards, reusable infrastructure patterns, and automation-focused solutions that meet enterprise security, governance, and regulatory needs. This role requires a strong engineering mindset, deep understanding of Azure cloud concepts, and hands-on experience in delivering production-grade platform solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
The ideal candidate is a problem solver and platform builder, someone who is passionate about cloud engineering, embraces automation, and thrives in a collaborative environment where innovation, reliability, and security are paramount.
What you will be responsible for
As an Azure Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating secure, scalable, and resilient Azure platform capabilities that enable application teams to deploy and operate workloads confidently within State Street’s cloud ecosystem.
Your responsibilities will span platform architecture, service enablement, automation, operations, and collaboration, with a strong focus on engineering excellence and cloud best practices.

Salary Range:
$90,000 - $157,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the location above, the applicable range could differ.
