The Energy Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing energy across the portfolio to support Prologis’ net-zero-by-2040 ambition. The role focuses on energy capacity, grid connections, and energy contracts, while enabling the growth of solar, energy storage, electric mobility, and electrification-driven uses such as data centers. The Energy Manager works closely with internal teams, utilities, customers, and external partners to ensure that assets have sufficient current and future energy capacity and that energy solutions are delivered in line with ESG, commercial, and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Power Infrastructure Ownership

Manage portfolio-level energy capacity, including contracted capacity, available grid capacity, and future demand driven by electrification.
Maintain an accurate register of grid connections across the building portfolio (power capacity, metering).
Document and regularly update technical specifications such as transformer size, capacity headroom, and local substation characteristics.
Closely collaborate with and support data center initiatives, including assessment of grid capacity, interconnections, substations, and interim power solutions, aligning energy delivery with customer and project timelines.
