A Day in the Life
We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and organized leader to join our CRDN OU Operations Team. In this role, you will report to the VP of OU Operations and represent the Operations value streams on the General Manager’s Therapy Team. You will be accountable for the active management and ongoing optimisation of end-to-end operations to ensure high quality service to our customers and patients.
The role includes both highly strategic and tactical elements. You will lead the end-to-end flow of products through the value streams, while you also lead the development and execution of a multi-year strategic plan to optimise Value Streams and maximise Business results.

A Day in The Life Of:
Through collaboration with internal cross functional and site partners, you will lead the end to end flow of products through the value streams, using leading and lagging metrics to drive continually improving performance in Safety, Quality, Service and Cost
Provide effective information flow and interaction, you will develop harmonious working relations with other functions and sites and ensure employees within the team have the necessary information and resources to effectively perform their roles
Lead the development and validation of methodology to conduct material and component inventory analysis, ensuring optimal levels are maintained
Lead and leverage cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for key business processes
Review the status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports
Regularly report on value stream performance, highlighting successes, further areas for improvement and corrective actions
Together with your cross functional partners, you will lead the development and execution of a multiyear Strategic Plan to optimise Value Streams and maximise Business results
The overall strategic plan will at a minimum incorporate individual plans including:
Value Stream Optimisation: Identify bottlenecks, stagnant flow, waste, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement within the Value Streams
Portfolio Optimisation/PLM: Active optimisation of our portfolio including sku rationalisation, geographic analysis, etc as appropriate
Inventory Optimisation: Develop and execute an overall Inventory Strategy that ensures optimised inventory levels are maintained to adequately serve our customers and patients, while optimising Free Cash Flow
Cost Down/Gross Margin Improvement: Collaborate with partners in the OU and GO&SC to develop a multiyear plan to drive cost down and margin improvement while monitoring and drive the execution and results
Network Strategy: Collaborate with GO&SC partners to input into network strategy and ensure GO&SC and OU strategies maintain alignment
Capacity Planning/Management: Leverage the IBP process and collaborate with GO&SC partners to ensure capacity is optimised to ensure adequate capacity is maintained to supply our customers and patients while optimising Free Cash Flow
Business Continuity Planning/Management: Collaborating with GO&SC partners to ensure appropriate business continuity plans are maintained and executed
You will own improving the maturity of each Value Stream to establish a best-in-class position across all relevant metrics
Key Skills & Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience
Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead multiple job areas, and detailed functional and operational expertise
Typically has mastery level knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the job function
Autonomy: Manages department (s) or region that includes multiple teams led by managers and / or supervisors
Organizational Impact: Leads the development of the strategy for own department or business area, ensuring links to the company’s aims and objectives
Management authority to make large business decisions and some strategic decisions
Decisions impact the financial performance, employees, or public image of the operational unit and/or company
Typically has budget or P&L accountability for a department, broad functional area or geography
Innovation and Complexity: Drives innovation across the business area, encouraging best practice and knowledge sharing
Up to 25% Travel Requirement as needed
Nice to have:
Experience working in a global role, interacting with sites, functions, and external partners across the globe
Knowledge and experience of working on E2E Value Streams in areas such as OpEx, Global Supply Chain, etc
Skills and experience in Strategy Development and Execution
Demonstrated Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving skills through the use of structured problem solving methodologies
Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated success in collaboration and teamwork
Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation
Functional Management including active talent development, teambuilding, and recognition skills
Project Management skills, ideally PMP certified with experience executing operations projects/programs, new processes, tools and program and/or portfolio dashboards
Strong proactive Risk Identification and Mitigation skills
Knowledge and experience with MPS
Business and Financial acumen
Experience working with internal Commercial partners
